The unlock and jailbreak iPhone team has released an updated version of its Unlock-Jailbreak.net utility that allows you to unlock and untethered jailbreak iPhone 4S and 4 iOS 6.0.1 and 3Gs iOS 6.0.1 your favorite iOS devices running iOS 6.0.1. The good news about this new release is that the utility will perform an untethered jailbreak iPhone 4S and 4 iOS 6.0.1, which means you can reboot the device without having to have it tethered to your computer.
Up until now, there was no other solution but use a beta version of FastSn0w, which let’s be honest, wasn’t very stable.

All we know is that it works with the jailbreak and unlock iPhone 4S and 4 3G, 3GS, and iPhone running iOS 6.0.1. Even better, unlike FastSn0w, you won’t need to have your 42b3 SHSH blobs saved in order for Unlock-Jailbreak.net to work. One thing is for sure, this version of Unlock-Jailbreak.net will unlock your iPhone to be able to use it on any GSM network worldwide.
The jailbreak is untethered and doesn’t need iOS 6.0.1 SHSH blobs to be saved like iPhone Dev Team’s Redsn0w 0.9.7, which is currently available for beta testing.
